Yeah, Free's bangin' but....

"...she's no Rachel." That, my friends, is a line from Kanye West's "Improvise." I personally thought the line was funny and I really like the song. We all know about Free and Kanye's little run in on 106 in 2004, but they're cool now. Mr. West publicly apoligized to Free on the couch, giving her flowers. On Kanye's last 106 & Park appearance with Free and AJ he said that he felt like they, along with the BET staff, were apart of his family. Free was actually featured on the intro of one his first mixtapes, right after his fateful car accident.

If you ever get the chance to see Kanye live I definitely recommend that you go. I was lucky enough to attend the Touch The Sky Tour with Keyshia Cole and it was absolutely ridiculous. Yeah, he may be arrogant and everything else you can name, but his stage performance is untouchable.

The song is fairly old. It was supposed to be featured on Late Registration (along with a million other songs) but didn't make the cut. You can take a listen yourself right.......................
here.

For those of you having trouble listening to the song, you can download it here.

No, I don't have a clip of the episode. But here's a recap of what happened.

"Kanye visited 106 & Park to premier his "Jesus Walks" video. Minutes before the presentation, co-host Free asked Kanye who he would be if he was a cartoon character. Though he initially answered that he would be "A Bug's Life's main character, Kanye later interrupted Free to address what he deemed an inappropriate question. "Yo Free, who they got writing these questions," Kanye asked. "I bring you a video about Jesus, and you're sitting here asking me questions bout cartoons? Geez!" Free then stared at Ye, visibly heated before giving him a chance to finish his thoughts. An awkward silence followed and they then quickly cut into the video. Since the minor incident, heads have been siding with Kanye and Free. While some feel the episode was another sample of Kanye's arrogance, others believe that the question was inappropriate considering the seriousness of the video's content. More heads have also applauded Kanye for speaking out instead of remaining silence like artists often do."

It really wasn't as serious as that article made it seem. Kanye interrupted Free and she just looked at him and asked,"Are you done yet?" He laughed a little bit and finally said yes. When they cut to the video, Free put her mic down but you could still hear her say, "You are mean." Free doesn't write the questions so I think that's why she said that. Kanye was snapping on somebody else's "hard" work.
